Overview

Doing business with a company requires trust and we want to earn your trust. One of the first ways in doing so is to be upfront with you on the type information we collect about you and how we protect it.

  1. We will not collect unnecessary information about you. We only collect information that helps us to service you better. Any information we do collect, will never be sold, rented or disclosed to any outside party.
  2. Like most websites, we collect non-personally identifiable information and use cookies when visiting our site. Web browsers and servers typically make session information available, such as your browser type, operating system type, language preference, referring site, the date and time of a visitor request, etc. We make absolutely no attempt to link this data to you personally, it is simply used as a way for us understand aggregate information about our site visitors. For example, cookies help us determine things such as: 60% of our visitors use Internet Explorer.
  3. When you send us an email, we make note of your email address for the purpose of replying to that particular email to provide support and answer any questions you may have. If you subscribe to be alerted by 30hands Learning on any major news or announcements, we may send you an email - only if you subscribed to be alerted. These "announcement" emails are sent very infrequently - typically only 2 or 3 per year. We will protect your email address as we would our own, and therefore your email address will never be sold, rented or disclosed to any outside party.
  4. When you purchase software from us, your billing information (credit card number, address, etc.) are handled by our payment processor Paypal. Paypal is owned and operated by eBay, a multi-billion public company responsible for processing secure transactions for millions of people and businesses everyday. 30hands Learning does not receive any billing information whatsoever during the ordering process. We only receive basic information (your name and email address) from PayPal once the transaction has completed. We take note of this information so that we can provide customer support by confirming your customer status. We promise to keep this information strictly confidential and will not share it with any third party.
